“Salt is a doppelganger boy who has barely survived in the Lost Area, a desolate slum where his kind are hunted, feared, and persecuted. Crushed by loneliness and rejected his entire life, the only person who ever reached out to him was a single girl named Rakuna. Through her kindness, Salt finally obtained the peaceful life he had always longed for—but that fragile happiness was destined to shatter.

Without warning, countless Aberrations descend upon the world, slaughtering humans one after another and plunging everything into chaos. In the midst of the carnage, Salt is forced to witness Rakuna’s brutal murder before his very eyes. Consumed by despair and a rage so overwhelming that it drives him to the brink of madness, the dormant power sleeping within him finally awakens.

Then, Salt encounters Hakua, a mysterious girl who holds the key to changing fate itself.

To reclaim everything he lost, save the person most precious to him, and exact merciless revenge upon the Aberrations, Salt travels back into the past.

Thus begins the unrivaled dark fantasy saga of a kind-hearted “Monster” boy who refuses to stop fighting.”
