Lu Ye, the universally revered Nine-Lives Celestial Venerable. On the day of his Ascension, he was betrayed by the very eight Empresses he had nurtured with his own hands.

Nine Heavens Sword Maiden: “Because of you, the whole world mocks me as a mere Sword Slave!”

Fairy Hong Ling: “If it weren’t for you, I would have become divine companions with him ages ago! You deserve to die!”

Vermilion Bird Demon Empress: “You claimed they would hurt me? But the one actually hurting me is you!”

Time reverses, granting a second life. Lu Ye swears never to repeat the mistakes of the past. This time, he will let these eight women fend for themselves!
